As you can see we have the whole image here with the header as well. So now its time to upload our file.

Go to our file panel click on the file you want to upload. This is where you have to ay particular attention, when we click on upload we’re gone be asked if we want to also upload all the related files. Let’s take a look. So do we want put our dependant files also, you need to say yes to this. See the image is also a dependant file if you say no then it won’t upload the actual main image that we just added to the website. So lets say no in this case and see what happens. Its uploading our file, we’ll come back to it once its uploaded. Now that the uploads finished lets a quick look at the actual website and see what happened. Refresh the page, as you can see there is no image.

All we’ve got our words beaver cheese. Which is the descriptive title we put in. so how do we fix his? Let me show you. Let’s go to upload the file again and this time when it asks us to unload the dependent files we’re going to say yes. What its doing this time is also uploading any new images that we’ve put on the page. This time when we have a look you should see everything will work fine. We’ll come straight back as soon as this page is uploaded. You can see here its currently uploading the dependent files. This only take a moment or two and then it will ready to go back to our main website and see what’s happened. Okay the page is finished uploading.

So let’s go over to the website now and see what the difference is. We’re going to refresh the page and see if a header image appears. As you can see a header is now there. So just remember when uploading a file and when it asks you to put the dependent files as well simply click on yes. I Hope that’s shown you how to upload your file as long as the little images that go with it.

If you would like to see more tips and tricks like this and learn how to build your whole website in less than a day, you can visit www.dreamweavermadesimple.com. I am Mike Hussner looking forward to seeing you there
